Sustainability & ESG

Sustainable workplaces built on clear ESG action, not empty promises.

Practical thinking, trusted partners and measurable progress at every stage.

We weave sustainability and ESG into the way we think, design and deliver every project. That means real action backed by evidence - from sustainably sourced materials and smarter energy decisions to stronger social value - creating workplaces that support people today and stand up brilliantly tomorrow.

‍

Our approach is grounded in proof and built for progress. With expert partners, recognised standards and a long-term focus, we help you make confident choices that are better all round.

Environmental Action

We are tackling impact head-on in an industry responsible for 25–40% of the UK's greenhouse gas emissions. Our approach is structured, measurable and backed by our ISO 14001:2015 certification, circular economy waste initiatives and carbon footprint analysis.

Working in partnership with trusted specialist independent sustainability consultancies, we bring real rigour and transparency to every project. We are currently assessing Scope 1 and 2 emissions, monitoring energy use and benchmarking performance through targeted BREEAM and LCA assessments, before expanding into Scope 3 and longer-term net zero goals.

At project level, we can offer a range of services depending on your needs and ambitions. Life Cycle Assessments through OneClick LCA measure embodied carbon across the full material lifecycle. IES DSM or SBEM energy modelling forecasts operational performance and guides smarter design decisions early. And for projects targeting formal recognition, we can support delivery against leading frameworks including BREEAM, SKA, WELL and Fitwel. We will help you identify which services are right for your project and your ESG goals.

Responsible Trading

Responsible trading is not a side note for us - it is genuinely part of how we work. We set clear expectations across our supply chain and hold ourselves to them too. Every supplier is required to follow our Code of Conduct, covering risk, impact and social value from the outset.

Our commitment is backed by thorough due diligence, ethical sourcing checks and a firm stance against forced labour, trafficking and modern slavery, giving you greater transparency and a more resilient supply chain.

By asking better questions, checking the details and choosing partners who can evidence good practice, we help create projects that are stronger, fairer and far better run.

Responsible Trading

People & Inclusion

A brilliant workplace starts with people. That is why our ESG approach includes a clear commitment to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, alongside health and safety practices aligned with ISO 45001 principles.

We design spaces to be accessible and welcoming in line with the Equality Act 2010, carefully considering physical, sensory, cognitive and social inclusivity through features like flexible work settings, accessible restrooms and clear wayfinding. When people feel supported, safe and able to belong, they do their very best work.

Keeping everyone safe is our absolute priority. We protect the wellbeing of our staff, contractors and clients through a secure, supportive culture where every person can thrive.

People & Inclusion

Community Impact

We want our work to leave a positive mark well beyond the workplace itself. That means promoting local suppliers wherever we can, engaging our workforce in the process and standing behind the communities around us. We are proud partners of Demelza, a charity supporting children with serious and life-limiting conditions and their families across the South East - fundraising, volunteering and showing up for the people who need it most.

We measure the social impact of what we do, so community value is never left as a vague intention. It is tracked, reviewed and built into the long-term relationships we form with the people, partners and neighbourhoods connected to every project.

Workplaces do not sit in isolation. By supporting local networks, creating practical social value and backing causes that genuinely matter, we help you make a broader contribution that strengthens projects, builds trust and benefits the wider community.

Community Impact

Better workplace decisions to create lasting value.

Practical action, clear proof points and trusted partners behind every project.

We embed sustainability and ESG into the everyday decisions that shape each project.

‍

From carbon measurement and responsible sourcing to inclusive design and meaningful social value, we focus on actions that stand up to scrutiny and help you make smarter, more confident choices.

FAQ's

How do you measure the sustainability of a project?

We use Life Cycle Assessments and energy modelling to track embodied carbon and forecast energy use. We also align delivery with leading environmental frameworks including BREEAM, SKA Rating, WELL Building Standard, Fitwel and NABERS, ensuring your space performs brilliantly against the standards that matter to you.

What sustainable materials do you use in your fit-outs?

We actively prioritise material reuse, collaborating with the Material Reuse Group, and specify products with high recycled content. All timber is FSC or PEFC accredited, and we always opt for low-VOC paints and adhesives to keep your indoor air quality exceptionally clean.

Are you working towards any specific environmental accreditations?

Yes, we are. We already hold ISO 14001:2015 certification for our environmental management system, and we are currently working towards achieving B Corp Certification to further cement our commitment to purpose-driven, responsible business that puts people and the planet first.

How do you ensure your supply chain operates ethically?

We mandate that all contractors and suppliers adhere to our strict Code of Conduct. This guarantees transparent labour practices, prevents modern slavery and ensures every partner shares our unwavering commitment to high ethical and environmental standards across every stage of delivery.

How do you design for inclusivity and wellbeing?

We take a deeply human-centric approach, aligning with the Equality Act 2010. We incorporate neurodiversity-friendly zones, flexible work settings, accessible restrooms, clear wayfinding and wellness rooms into our designs, ensuring the physical environment supports everyone who uses it, every single day.
