A landmark new headquarters for a longstanding client

Our second major project with the Global Private Equity firm, this ambitious 27,000 ft² fit-out was completed in 28 weeks. And saw our client’s UK head office team relocate to one of London's most distinctive addresses

Brief

Bigger, bolder, better

The brief was to take the principles of our previous project, a 14,000 sq ft refurbishment of their Jermyn Street office, and scale them up. They wanted a world-class client suite, room to grow, and all the support spaces their team needed to do their best work.

Building for performance

The project began by building a high-quality workplace infrastructure to support the client's operational and technology needs. We coordinated services and spatial planning carefully, so the workplace could meet both current and future demands.

Creating clarity and flexibility

Considered space planning defined a range of workplace settings while keeping the floor open and adaptable. Glazed partitions introduced privacy where needed, without compromising natural light or the overall sense of connection across the floor.

Making the most of the location

The completed workplace takes full advantage of its prime Mayfair setting, with spaces that benefit from natural light, city views and a strong connection to the surrounding area. The result supports productivity while enhancing the day-to-day experience of employees and visitors alike.

Momentous meeting space

Suspended over Sherwood Street, the listed Bridge Room is the building’s standout feature. A unique meeting space, it adds to the impression  made on clients from the moment they arrive.

A client suite for business building

The flexible client suite can host up to seven simultaneous meetings or be opened up to create an event space via a sophisticated sliding folding wall system, giving our client the infrastructure to maintain and grow key relationships at the highest level.

Flexible space for meeting and working

Forty private offices and five internal meeting rooms are available for booking and sit alongside 110 sit-stand desks in the open plan area. The team have great flexibility for where and how they work. And with an IT help desk and wellbeing room within easy reach, they have support on hand too.

Plenty of room to get social

A generous kitchen and breakout space,  with seating for up to 44, gives the whole team somewhere to recharge and come together. And shower and changing facilities are available for an active workforce.

Details

Warm timber, cool blues and textured greys run throughout. It’s a palette carried forward from the Jermyn Street project and elevated for a new setting, with integrated lighting adding depth and warmth to every key space.
