Contemporary, unbranded and full of personality. This 18,000 ft², two-phase fit-out puts everything a diverse trading team needs in easy reach at the client’s new London HQ.

Brief

A clear departure from the old way

Relocating from a campus in Leatherhead, our client needed a central London HQ that felt like a genuine step change. The space had to support traders with very different working styles, accommodate meetings and large-scale events, and do it all with minimal branding but maximum character.

Approach

Creating the foundation

The project began with a clear vision: transform an open floor plate into a workplace that supports both operational needs and employee experience. We established the right infrastructure from the outset, building in the flexibility for a range of work settings and future growth.

Delivering in phases

We delivered the project in phases, letting the workplace evolve while the business kept running. Close planning and coordination meant each stage built seamlessly on the last - minimising disruption while keeping the wider vision on track.

Creating a workplace destination

The completed environment combines collaboration, wellbeing and hospitality-inspired design to create a workplace people actively want to use. A variety of settings support different ways of working, helping people connect, focus and perform through the day.

Feature townhall area

The centrepiece for this fit-out is a striking townhall area designed for breakout and large-scale events. With bespoke joinery, a detailed acoustic ceiling and distinctive lighting, it sets the tone for the whole floor.

Spaces for every work style

A carefully considered mix of meeting rooms, focus spaces and collaborative zones gives traders the options they need in easy reach - whatever their role, working style or the task at hand.

Cohesive across two phases

Delivered in two phases over the course of the team's growth, the workspace feels completely unified. A consistent palette, furniture and layout make the full 18,000 sq ft feel like it was always one space.

Personality without branding

Warm colours, tactile materials and careful detailing give the space a solid identity. One that feels full of personality and supports the culture of a fast-moving trading environment.

Details

Timeless neutrals form the base of the scheme, and warm tonal accents woven through furniture, joinery and soft finishes ensure it’s character-led without being brand-led.
