Versatile, future-focused and full of personality. This 8,000 ft² fit-out for Forvis Mazars' Bristol team balances the firm's regional consistency with a bold identity all of its own.

Brief

In line but standing apart

As part of Forvis Mazars' regional growth strategy, the brief was to create a workspace aligned with other offices in the portfolio – while also giving the Bristol team something that felt distinctly theirs. A place to grow into, host events from and thrive in.

Approach

Creating a workplace community

We designed a workplace that brings people together. Open, flexible spaces encourage collaboration, support informal interaction and give people more choice through the working day.

Designing for collaboration

We created dedicated spaces for teamwork, learning and knowledge sharing. By combining settings for group interaction with focused work, the workplace meets the needs of a modern, connected workforce.

Creating a space for everyone

At the centre of the workplace, a town hall brings people together and strengthens the sense of community. Designed for everything from company updates and presentations to informal gatherings, it offers a flexible destination that encourages connection, engagement and shared experiences.

Making an entrance

A welcoming entrance and flexible townhall space form the social heart of the office. Designed to host events and bring people together, as well as creating a strong first impression for visitors and clients.

Client and visitor zone

A defined but open client area provides a professional setting for meetings and visits. It’s separated enough to give privacy but open enough to feel part of the wider workplace.

A full range of work settings

From quiet focus areas to open collaboration zones, the space offers plenty of variety. The Bristol team have the freedom to choose how they work and room to grow as the business evolves.

A bold, characterful palette

Mazars' signature blue is layered with sage green and zesty yellow, complemented by patterned wallpapers, warm lighting and biophilia. It’s got energy and personality but hasn’t lost its professional grounding.

Details

While Forvis Mazars blue anchors the scheme and nods to the firm's identity, the wider palette and wallpapers capture Bristol’s energy and creativity.
